Government labor unions are losing dues-paying members at an unprecedented rate, which is good news for workers and bad news for liberal coffers. The mass exodus is forcing leaders on the left to address a serious problem: Their decades of financial backing from fat cat union bosses may be coming to an end.

Is this any less corrupt than vote harvesting? Jungle primaries? Gerrymandering? I believe our republic is lost!

Anti-Christian Oregon has possibly reached the tipping point. This state is royally screwing up in every field of endeavor. From taxes to freedom

If this is a “plan” for state employees it seems that there’s little,or nothing, that SCOTUS would (or could) do about it.But there’s no way that this would fly where Federal employees are involved.

If Venezuela can be salvaged, so can Oregon. They just need to fall into capitulation.

states and the fed paying union dues errr ‘fees’ to the unions is a gross conflict of interest. They must be worried that Trump’s wall will curtail immigration of culturally union-dependent socialists from south of the border.

All liberals are fanatics.

Oregon is just an easy path for them to pass the law.

Establish proof of concept.

Then roll out nationwide.

Just like ballot harvesting...I mean...vote by mail ...I mean...early voting.

When I was employed, my employer provided me with a paid parking spot in a commercial parking garage. This was considered income for me and I had to pay income tax and FICA on the value. It appears to me that the government subsidiary making these payments on behalf of those employees that refuse to pay the “union fees” will have to, for tax purposes, identify which employees are involved, and that employee will have to pay the taxes on same. The feds always want their cut and they usually get it.

Passage of the National Right to Work Act would have obviated much of this union largesse to the DNC. But our Republican Congress did nothing...2 years they had to do something. And nothing...

The 1935 Labor Relations Act should have been repealed or declared unconstitutional decades ago. It was created (by a demoncrat president with two demoncrat-controlled houses of congress) expressly to exempt unions from the Sherman Anti-Trust Act. Without its protections, collective bargaining would be criminal extortion.
