Before I retired from P&G we had a lot of those. They weren’t called “white privilege” seminars but were called “diversity training”. All they did was talk about how to treat minorities, gays, etc. One white lady was suspended for 3 days for saying she “wished she had Roger back as supervisor”. Roger was white. The current supervisor was black. One of the black women on the team accused her or racism and the black plant manager suspended the white lady that said NOTHING about race. Roger happened to be a good and very skilled supervisor while his black replacement was not. I had good supervisors of both races so I know it had nothing to do with her being a racist. She happened to be right. They didn’t fire her but it ended up on her personnel record. They finally moved the black supervisor, several times, because he couldn’t do the job but they wouldn’t let him go.
P & G owns Gillette. Nuff said.
Even worse is the “we know what you’re REALLY thinking, because all you X really think alike”, so we have to indoctrinate you to correct what we know you’re secretly thinking regardless of stated beliefs or actions.
