They “denied” a lot of charges, but it wasn’t negotiated down to anywhere near $10k. I have all the costs Geisinger paid; not so w/ Medicare.
I believe you. My point is that original hospital charges are no where close to what is finally accepted and actually paid by medicare. Hospitals and doctors are still doing ok.
