Regarding the politically correct federal government shutdown (imo) that Speaker Pelosi referred to in her official letter to PDJT, please consider the following.
If people who normally receive US mail have had no disruption in their mail service (1.8.7) during the so-called shutdown, then it can be argued that the feds were actually never shut down where constitutionally justifiable domestic policy is concerned, the mail service being one of the feds very few domestic powers to serve the people.
In other words, most of the so-called federal government services Pelosi wants to reopen are actually based on 10th Amendment-protected state powers, and uniquely associated state revenues, that the corrupt, post-17th Amendment ratification feds have stolen, and continue to steal from the states, state revenues stolen by means of unconstitutional federal taxes.
Congress is not empowered to tax for those purposes which are within the exclusive province of the States. Justice John Marshall, Gibbons v. Ogden, 1824.
... the care of the property, the liberty, and the life of the citizen, under the solemn sanction of an oath imposed by your Federal Constitution, is in the States, and not in the Federal Government [emphases added]. Rep. John Bingham, Congressional Globe, 1866. (See about middle of 3rd column.)
"It is one of the happy incidents of the federal system that a single courageous State may, if its citizens choose, serve as a laboratory; and try novel social and economic experiments without risk to the rest of the country. Justice Brandeis, Laboratories of democracy.
Note that constitutional limits on states as laboratories of democracy are that the states are guaranteed a republican form of government (Article IV, Section 4) and cannot abridge constitutionally enumerated rights (14th Amendment).
From the accepted doctrine that the United States is a government of delegated powers, it follows that those not expressly granted, or reasonably to be implied from such as are conferred, are reserved to the states, or to the people. To forestall any suggestion to the contrary, the Tenth Amendment was adopted. The same proposition, otherwise stated, is that powers not granted are prohibited [emphasis added]. United States v. Butler, 1936.
Linda has kinda upstaged President Trump lately. Much to her chagrin, nothing came of it. Hopefully he’ll mind his manners tonight.
Trump made that perfectly clear to her the day he denied her access to military aircraft and simultaneously flew the First Lady to Florida for the weekend on a military aircraft. She has been livid and seething since then. Her blood pressure has to be thru the roof. Stuttering and stammering in front of every camera she can find.
Trump will have her on the high wire next!
Her blood pressure has to be thru the roof.

Good. It would be pleasant if she dropped dead.
she’s been a power-hungry attention-loving shrew forever. nothing surprises me anymore.
The constitution says the timing is up to him.
“he may, on extraordinary Occasions, convene both Houses, or either of them, and in Case of Disagreement between them, with Respect to the Time of Adjournment, he may adjourn them to such Time as he shall think proper;”

Are you sure about that? I think the building belongs to the people and is maintained by the executive branch. She briefly said yesterday that no one working for the executive branch would be admitted, but her “decree” was quickly silenced. I thought at the time it was because she does NOT control the facility, and she is fact completely off her rocker.
Hail Ceaser. Consult the history of Rome to see what comes next. Lol.
Forcing his way in there would be the end of Pelosi, but you have to worry about the Deep State and its many players. It’s kinda like when a normal citizen morphs into Agent Smith within the Matrix.
That’s right.
It belongs to *We the people*.
And he should tell her, too bad, you invited. I’m still coming. You don’t have to show up if you don’t want.

Ha ha ha
Fat chance of Linda not saying something to undercut President Trump.
One of the reasons the House was lost to the dems is that a significant number of people did not think Trump acted presidential and most of those people voted for the dems. The republicans lost the suburbs for the first time.
You may not like it, but there is a reality involved and that is Trump needs to start winning over some folks that did not vote for him in 2016. At this point, he may have picked up 2 or 3 voters but no more.
Trump needs to project himself in favorable ways and trying to storm the House is not one of them. The most logical thing to do is to give the speech in the Capitol. I assume it will be in the Senate chambers and look and sound presidential. Nancy will look petty because they will set it up just like the House and Nancy will be missing. The voters will notice.

I never said he should “storm the House.” I said he capitulated because Queen Nancy said “no State of the Union!” and Trump said “okay.”
I posted that before Fox News aired his comments, and Shep (who will never have to worry about masculinity, toxic or otherwise) simply reported that Trump had cancelled the SOTU.
Now, it seems Trump will give the speech - and is looking for somewhere else to do it. I have faith that whatever he does will embarrass that vile old bitch in a classic Trumpian manner.
The President can give the address from the Rotunda, the physical heart of the White House and let miss Nancy roll her marbles in her hand in her chambers.
