House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said Wednesday that Democrats will not authorize President Donald Trump to give his State of the Union in the House chamber until the partial government shutdown ends.
The California Democrat's letter to Trump escalates a standoff over the annual address hours after the president said he would give the speech in the House chamber next week as planned. Earlier this month, Pelosi urged him to reschedule the speech during a partial government shutdown.

Trump can speak from the senate. He can have 2 chairs behind him, one for Pence and one for Pelosi. One will be empty - it will remind many of the Clint Eastwood speech.

Photos of walls around Obama’s, Clinton’s, etc compounds should also be shown, showcasing the vast Rat hypocrisy regarding the “immorality” of walls.
When that happens, the President that Speaker Pelosi has not come to fill her chair.

The problem is, though, that if the SOTU where merely written by a Republican, the Monica Media would bury it.
Trump just said they will do something in the alternative and will be telling us at a later date.
I still think something is going to happen tomorrow in the U S Senate.

The POTUS is only required to give a State of the Union Report. Not a speech.
Frankly, doing away with the speeches would be a good thing. An opinion I’ve held since the early 90s.
Trump should just have the report printed and downloadable.
That’s a terrible idea. SOTU is the one time POTUS has a chance to speak to the American people unfiltered by the Demofascist MSM. They totally censored his speech last weekend. Didn’t even broadcast it.

Well you may be right. It’s popcorn time for sure. I don’t think she knows who she’s messing with but I’m glad POTUS has SS protection.
