Libels of and threats to Covington Kids will face Kentucky justice
American Thinker ^ | 01/23/2019 | Thomas Lifson

The ongoing campaign of hate against children from Kentucky guilty of being Catholic, being (mostly) white, and wearing MAGA caps won't end until there are legal consequences.  Fortunately, the wheels of justice already are turning in Kentucky, albeit at a pace that is frustrating to those who operate at internet speed.  But the prospect of Kentuckian jurors judging those who libel or threaten their children is delightful.  There are two separate avenues available, and both are being explored by people ready and willing to act.

The more serious path to legal relief was articulated by Kenton County (which contains Covington) prosecutor Rob Sanders.  Gateway Pundit reports:

"We've got multiple ongoing investigations into numerous, numerous threats," Mr. Sanders said Tuesday in a podcast interview with 700 WLW.  "There's probably a dozen law enforcement agencies, if not more involved in this – it's growing, it's spreading, there are other jurisdictions now involved in this," Sanders added.

700 WLW radio host Willie Cunningham brought up the death threats towards the Covington teens made by bluecheck verified accounts on Twitter and asked Mr. Sanders about Kentucky law. ...

"What is the Kentucky law about making threats to Covington Catholic specifically?  Is there a law against it?" Willie asked Rob Sanders.

"There is.  It's called 'terroristic threatening' in Kentucky and it is a felony offense punishable by 1 to 5 years in prison to make a threat of violence to an educational institution, so everyone who makes a specific threat."

Mr. Sanders made sure to clarify that saying "nasty things" about the Covington kids is not the same thing as making an "actual threat of violence" against Cov Cath or any other school in Kentucky that's punishable by 1 to 5 years in prison.  The punishment can go up to 5 to 10 years

Good! Some of these people should rightfully spend time in prison for these threats. Others should have their a$$es sued into oblivion. These “apologies” ring hollow to me - only made because of the threat of lawsuits. These people are sick and dangerous!

I want a more reliable source than Gateway Pundit.

like one poster on that site said- when inner city yutes kidnapped and tortured a white disabled kid, the media couldn’t be bothered to report it practically, but by golly let a white kid smile at an indian and all hell breaks loose?

Funny how the3 left defraud, lie and sole from the indians, but now all of a suddenly they are the indian’s best friends again?

Imagine the scene: You are waiting for a bus in a city you have never been to before. a bizarre cult of racist black nationalists is verbally abusing you. Then out of nowhere, a hippie-dude who looks like a meth-addict comes up and starts drumming in your face.

Then, Act II: America’s corrupt, Trump deranged media, takes some random video clips, put them through their septic-tank of fake analysis and phony narrative, ferments them, and then sprays their shit all over you in front of the nation.

I can only congratulate the 16 year-old for keeping his composure.

Unfortunately Kentucky Law is not Washington D.C. Law. If this happened in Kentucky they would be able to hold People accountable.

I’m sure a bunch of these Liberal A Holes violated Federal Law and should be pursued by the Justice Department.

I assume the Kids would have to file any Civil Actions in D.C. as well, but I’m not sure if that would be the case since these A Holes are all over the Country.

Kentucky Department of Corrections has 12,233 criminals behind bars now, far more than they can afford. It would be nice to lock up terrorists who issue death threats against children to support their political objectives and simultaneously fine the terrorists enough to fix the funding problem.

"The other avenue for legal redress is libel suits."

Perhaps some freeper lawyers can inform us if they think there is any way to go after twitter with a lawsuit. Being that they have pulled twitter accounts of conservatives based on 'hate speech' and did nothing to these twitter accounts. They have deep pockets and the left has to start paying for this stuff or it's never going to stop.

I hope they actually do follow through and prosecute a couple of them because I think it would be very helpful in containing the twitter mobs.

But what I really want are winning libel suits against celebrities and the media. The media is completely unprofessional and needs to be hammered.

Can they sue Twitter and FakeBook like you can sue a bar serving booze if someone they served kills someone in a car crash?

Making threats of violence against people or places in Kentucky is a violation of Kentucky law regardless of where the person was located when he made the threats.

Not threats made to the student while in school. One jerk wanted to burn down the school with the kids locked inside.

Jim Carey and that wacked female who carried Trump’s head in a comedy skit can share a cell and bore each other to death.

Great. I wouldn’t trust a Jury in D.C. to come back with a Guilty Verdict even of the Indian Refrigerator Repairman tried to set the Kids on Fire.
