Fox News Special Report anchor Bret Baier and his family were in a severe car accident while vacationing in Montana over the weekend.
“After a weekend of skiing with my wife and two boys in Montana, driving to the airport Monday morning on icy roads, we were involved in a major car crash. Thanks to a man driving by named Zach who stopped and helped, we were able to climb out of the flipped car. And thanks to the first responders and Montana Highway Patrol – we made it to the hospital quickly. We are very grateful to all of those who helped us out," Baier released in a statement Tuesday morning. "My advice to everyone is to always wear your seatbelt and to count your blessings everyday. I tweeted this out as we left the hospital banged up, but alive. — ‘Don’t take anything for granted – every day is a blessing and family is everything. It’s always good to remind yourself of that before something does it for you.’”

The news of the crash was first announced by Late Show host Stephen Colbert Monday night. Baier was scheduled to be on his show tonight.
“We just found out that he and his family were in a car accident in Montana. Bad, like, jaws of life to get him out of there. They’re all in the hospital but they’re going to be okay. And we just want to say: we hope you’re doing better,” Colbert said.
We wish Bret and his family a healthy and speedy recovery.
“...Baier was unable to stop at an intersection, and his vehicle was struck on the drivers side by another vehicle,..”
Oh yeah, take a New Yorker out to Montana in January and turn him loose on icy roads.
**Looks bad from this photo...**
No, that isn’t bad. Airbags and seat belts, and the roof isn’t mashed down.
Two weeks ago a semi driver hauling logs about 10 miles SW of Shiloh battlefield, on TN 57, went topside down in a 20’ deep ditch. Crushed him.
Where’s the other vehicle...?
I wish nothing bad on Bret and his family... but he has been against Trump since day one and that look he gets every time he has to comment on Trump, is not fair nor balanced. He was appointed the job he has on Fox and that nice guy he used to be, is tainted because he can’t say one good thing about Pres Trump.
I do hope he and family are okay .. it’s just sometimes hard to be nice when ya’ don’t feel nice towards the guy. He set Trump up in that first debate and has not stopped.

If you saw that person in Warren County, IL, that was probably a member of the Thompson clan. I have friends that used to tell me about competing against them at the demos many years ago.
Probably the pickup truck that looks to be almost in the ditch.
From the looks of the terrain, he must have gotten a bit relaxed after leaving the mountains behind. The photo could easily pass for the majority of rural Midwest. Almost looks like my old neighborhood in IL.
Not meant in the sense that he doesn’t deserve it; he has worked hard for all he has, and should do whatever he wants with his money.
I was merely making a rather snarky comment to someone else’s comment. I really don’t care much what he does.
God winked.
IMO, Mr Baier needs to go to a Skip Barber Driving School.
Hillary doesn’t do warnings...;)
He hit a patch of ice and couldn’t stop the SUV before it slid into the middle of a busy intersection. That’s when a pick up truck T-boned him at the driver-side door and knocked the SUV on its right side. Airbags deployed.
No jaws of life were needed.
I’m just a year behind; will be 77 in August.
May Leos live long and prosper...
First words to the truck driver: Do you know who I am!!?
I thought this guy was suppose to be gay?
“I thought this guy was suppose to be gay?”
Dumb comment!
.
Wrong Fox gay guy.
Driving big vehicles doesn’t irritate me.
Driving like a teenager on drugs because the driver feels safe in a big vehicle bugs me.
When, I am driving the speed limit in a two lane hilly curvy area, tailgating me in a big beast is close to criminal assault.
why is it a dumb comment. It was a query anyway....not a comment dumb shit
why do so many people on this site have their panties in a wad?
