”President Trump is getting ready to place an unprecedented amount of economic pressure on Cuba’s communism regime and some of the non-U.S. companies that have invested there, according to a leading Republican lawmaker.
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has signaled that Americans who decades ago had property stolen by Fidel Castro’s regime and sold to other foreign companies may soon be able to sue those companies to recoup their losses. That will intensify financial pressure on the island government, according to Rep. Mario Diaz-Balart, and have ripple effects for authoritarian states around the world.
"A lot of the atrocities committed by the Maduro regime are committed by Cubans sent there by the Castro regime,” Diaz-Balart told the Washington Examiner. “The Castro regime is very fragile, at best. The Venezuelan money is drying up, and I think you're going to have a lot of companies that — if they knew that they could get sued for trafficking in stolen properties, I think they're going to look elsewhere to invest. And so, I think that's a really important factor."

I will bet you that the big fish here aren’t individuals, but rather corporations. There are no “kids” involved. We’re not talking about getting back some stolen art owned by German Jews and taken by the Nazis here. I will bet you that there are foreign corporations who are running expropriated American plants in Cuba.
Those ‘57 Chebbys in Cuba probably have some foreign diesel under the hood, and it’s been there for 50 years. BTW, just watched a ‘57 Bel Air Convertible go for $150k on one of the TV auto auctions. Who Knew?

There are a lot of abandoned buildings in Poland they can’t do anything about because they were owned by Jews who perished in the Holocaust, because at any time relatives could claim the property.

China will not complain as their creditors gobble up entire harbors and sea ports in Africa. Trump will turn Cuba into another guam or Puerto Rico with certain US citizen rights. Maybe they can become a place where little Marco goes to be their Senator if granted State Status. Trump may well reshape the United States and Issue another Statehoods in this type of process. My dad drove a white 57 El Camino with a red interior.
But the car of envy was owned by a friend whose dad owned the barber college and had my friend working since he was very young. As a result, as a junior in high school, my friend drove a 59 cat’s eyes Impala coupe, white over black, that was lowered and had side pipes. Hubba hubba.
