The hate from the Left did start much earlier than Travon.
Recall the Clintons and their politics of personal destruction and scorched earth. That was during the 70s, 80s, and 90s.
Recall Obama and Joe the Plumber. Joe just asked a basic question of Obama, and the Obamaites throw everything they could at Joe.
It is been building. Now we have politicians and reporters and activists and their supporters engaged in politics of personal destruction and scorched earth against everyone and everything they disagree with. They perpetuate this atmosphere of vitriol and hate.
