Funny how they don't mention the Disneyifying that relinquishes to the memory hole his plagiarism and adultery.

He still achieved a level of greatness in spite of his personal peccadilloes. At the very least, he showed great personal courage.

Peccadilloes? Adultery and plagiarizing are certainly not peccadilloes. And a man who beats up prostitutes is not courageous.
