I admit and apologized for jumping to the conclusion the kids were disrespectful based on the 3 minute video.

There is an hour and 46 minute video. I watched the whole thing and for the life of me, there really wasn't much of a conflict. War of words, not started by the kids, and mostly not directly responded to by the kids.

It’s not nonsense, maybe you don’t have the same circle of family/friends that I do, but I hear those issues re-raised all the time. At least 3 of my more liberal Facebook friends posted the picture of this kid “taunting & smirking at” the poor Native American Vet. The MAGA hat just sent them over the crazy edge and I doubt they’ll admit they were wrong, since their truth isn’t based in fact, it’s based in feelings.
People like us might make a difference in some ways, but not with these people.
