ALSO, the President has recently said many frank things about our NATO allies. First and foremost, they need to start paying their share, as the PROMISED to do. Secondly, several German and French generals have been talking about a united EU army that “can take on the USA”.
This is no way to talk about your primary ally! So the President called them on it. Speculated on even the need for NATO (and in light of the Super European Army, why still have it?).
Nancy SAID she was going to Brussels to show “Solidarity” with our NATO allies. That would have been her interfering in the Executive branch’s responsibilities on foreign affairs and she was going to do this as a FU to Pres. Trump.
