For as long as I can remember, California has had two seasons. Fire and Mud.
This year was no different.
Oh, no. This screws up EVERYTHING!
Yeah.....sue climate change and see how much you get.
Bankrupt the California PG&E power company. California does not need a greedy power utility company. Tax them bigly.
California Democrats can tax and create their own power. Unions can run electrical wire. It is simple.
All those tiny power creating windmills will provide the watts.
Come on Democrats!! Bring us power. All you need is taxes.

For those of you who can remember it - there is a thing called a “fire triangle.” It was taught in school back in the stone ages. Fire takes a) a spark b) fuel c) oxygen. All three at once. Oxygen is not going away so we can’t mitigate risk by removing it. Spark and fuel we can control. The question is, imho, did the state do an adequate job of limiting fuel in the case of the recent wildfires in California which are attributed to sparks from PG&E equipment? My take is no. The state of Cali is at least partly to blame for the fires on the bare facts. I can light a match and throw it into my backyard and there will be no fire, because I keep the fuel under control.
Windmills kill birds - including endangered bird species.
In a way, the horrific fires were indeed caused by climate change. Climate change hysteria, which is a scientific fact.

The California “tree-hugger” liberals caused the fires to be so bad...Their refusal of good forest management caused the massive undergrowth that was the fuel for these fires...

So, wind causes lines to spark and start a fire. I’m glad the judge realizes that the Earth has had winds since the beginning of time, and only had power lines for 100 years. So, Wind, Power lines, trees, fire. This isn’t rocket science, not is it Climate Change

The only thing that surprises me about this ruling is it was made by a California judge. He clearly is not on the 9th Circus Court of Appeals because he showed some decent rationality and consideration of the actual facts and law.
