Don’t go blaming the system for their greed to spend beyond their means. The liberals give people the idea that no matter what they’ll be taken care of.

In no way are people spending on necessities. They buy junk, vacations, and more junk. Your own statement states that.

So don’t go touting something you really know nothing about.

There are plenty of people who retire just fine. They’re the ones who don’t live beyond their means and save and invest for their future.

You really gotta stop listening to liberal propaganda.

You keep saying that I know nothing about economics or human behavior. It's insulting. Everything you say about many of those in debt is true. The problem is not that it's allowed (I'm not opposed to survival of the fittest). It's encouraged as the norm. Economics education is close to non-existent.

Of course, there are people who don't fall into the debt trap. You can argue that "it's their fault" for those who do, and in many cases it is. But that doesn't solve the problem that we now have a few generations who've never been held accountable for their decisions.
