Calls for President Donald Trump's impeachment grew among Democrats on Friday after a report said he had directed Michael Cohen, his personal lawyer and fixer at the time, to lie to Congress about negotiations to build a Trump Tower in Moscow.
BuzzFeed News on Thursday evening reported that Cohen told special counsel Robert Mueller the president personally instructed him to lie to Congressional investigators in order to minimize links between Trump and his Moscow building project, citing two federal law enforcement officials involved in an investigation of the matter. The report also alleged that Cohen was directed to give a false impression that the project had ended before it actually did.
NBC News has not independently confirmed this report.
Rep. Adam Schiff, D-Calif., the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee, called the allegation the “most serious to date” Thursday evening and said that his committee would look into the matter.
“The allegation that the President of the United States may have suborned perjury before our committee in an effort to curtail the investigation and cover up his business dealings with Russia is among the most serious to date,” Schiff said in a tweet. “We will do what’s necessary to find out if it’s true.”

Even if there were “documents”, they still think another fake dossier would suffice, since the previous one doesn’t have the desired result.
Why I am reasonably confident the less than authentic new documents? Because we would have heard it leaked by now.

There are Moments in history, and I believe this is one of them, before which cataclysmic changes occur in a country’s destiny, where people must choose between compromise with evil or stay true to the truth,
for fear of there careers or even their lives and reputation. Many in the media, perhaps most, have chosen poorly and it will cost them dearly.
RGB is on her last legs, and they know it. This hub-bub is the cover they will use to avoid having Trump name a replacement.

Like the Easter bunny they just keep on going. In Canada I got the usual dose of “Trump almost finished” on CBC radio. Keeping their enjoyment at a politely disguised level. I glanced at the “View”. Josephine Victoria (Joy Behar) spewed out a diatribe of absolute venom. Incomprehensible to me that surely someone has not told her she is mentally sick. This within her own circle.
When the truth comes out about Adam Schiff then he will be rotting in prison. As for Cohen... His words are not worth the sound they make.

Prosecutors on Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s team investigating alleged “collusion” between the Trump presidential campaign and Russia knew all along that the anti-Trump “dossier” compiled by former British spy Christopher Steele that fueled their probe was biased and likely phony.
Yet instead of investigating those individuals at the FBI and Justice Department who actively participated in the dossier fraud – as he should have done – Mueller hired several of them to investigate Trump.
Newly confirmed congressional testimony of former Associate Deputy Attorney General Bruce Ohr shows that he warned both the FBI and the Justice Department that Steele was “desperate that Donald Trump not get elected.”
This conspicuous bias should have been enough to deposit the dossier – a series of memos from Steele – into the nearest trash can. But top FBI and Justice Department officials were determined to damage or destroy President Trump. So they ignored Steele’s patent prejudice and sought to exploit his dubious document – despite Ohr saying of the dossier: “I don’t know how reliable it is.”
These same FBI and Justice Department officials also deliberately disregarded the source of Steele’s funding –Trump’s political opponent, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton.
And incredibly, the officials concealed all of this vital information from the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance (FISA) Court in obtaining a warrant to spy on a Trump campaign associate. But that’s not all. They used the Steele report to launch the original Trump-Russia “collusion” investigation.
The sordid scheme began on July 5, 2016 – the very day Clinton was cleared of mishandling classified documents by FBI Director James Comey.
As Comey was twisting the facts and contorting the law to absolve Clinton, an FBI agent was meeting secretly in London with Steele, who had composed the first of his memos.

No evidence has actually been seen, by anyone. None.
Until there is evidence, this should be considered *allegations*, and handled as hearsay. Not fact.
What if he said something to the effect:
COHEN: What should I say about your wanting to put up a hotel in Moscow?
TRUMP:If they don’t ask don’t tell.
COHEN: You mean deny it?
TRUMP: No, there’s nothing to hide, just don’t admit to anything unless they ask you.
