Most do not realize that these “government aircraft” are military assets. They are part of the US Air Force's 89th Airlift Wing at Andrews Air Force Base, Maryland. Here's a link,

Of course, Pelosi could fly commercial, as is proper. But doing so makes it harder to disguise the expense of her boondoggles from the citizens who have to pay for it.
