If Maduro had run for Congress from the South Bronx he would have won.

I just tried to post a photo of a hundred trillion dollar bill, but my internet explorer got screwed up. I don’t recommend visiting their site.

What's wrong with this picture?
The problem is that no one is trying to rob him. Venezuelan currency is so worthless, there's no point in robbing this guy. Does Dofus think a 300% increase in their wages is actually going to help anything?

Ceausescu, in his final speech announced that wages were going to go up across the board.
It didn’t save him.

The problem is that just as many merchants here in the US refuse to accept anything bigger than a $20 bill merchants in Zimbabwe refused to accept anything larger that a $50 billion bill.

I worked a few years in Venezuela in the 70s. It was good duty and the Bolivar was as good as the US dollar as it was linked to the US dollar. It was the most prosperous nation in South America and this was “before” the huge increases in the price of oil in the late 70s. The price of oil today adjusted for inflation is actually higher than the mid 70s when Venezuela was doing well.
The government of Venezuela was corrupt and the people became disgusted with it and elected the charismatic communist Chavez. This was the beginning of the end for Venezuela.
Venezuela was no less corrupt than our nation today. When I hear the things that Schumer, Pelosi, Bloomberg, Blasio, Cotez, etc. say it reminds me of Chavez.
