A day after her Brexit plan suffered the worst parliamentary defeat in modern British political history, U.K. Prime Minister Theresa May has survived a motion of no-confidence brought by Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn by a vote of 325-306.
Why it matters: May's job has been under threat for months, and yet she keeps on surviving. Having already seen off one challenge from rebels in her own party, she's now defeated a motion from the opposition. Still, May is no closer to delivering on Brexit with 10 weeks left until the U.K. is scheduled to leave the European Union.

Doesn’t surprise me.
The uniparty exists across The Pond, too....
i heard it was 432 to 202
a lot more distant than close
Yep, same m.o. as congress, pretend they are for something, but never quite get enough votes — proof an entire parliament and congress can be corrupt and filled with criminals. Fallen man is incapable of governing themselves unless having been redeemed by God.
sorry that was the brexit plan
Labour wants her out. It was willing to screw up the brexit process in order to get her out and regain power.
May is bad, but Labour is infinitely worse.
She survived because NOBODY in her party wants to take her place and take over that thankless task called Brexit.
There is no Margaret Thatcher around anymore.
Or they realize that success of the no-confidence vote would have meant a takeover by Labour, and they didn't want that.
What this currently means is that we may see a "hard BRexit" in March.
The parliament wants to stay in the EU"
No sir! It means that Brexit is an automatic go... With no frills... Actual freedom from the EU...
The only thing that is screwed is the worthless agreement May got on her knees for from the EU...
Gee. What a surprise. Not.
They failed on a no-confidence vote the last time, and now this. Just tells me that none of them have the balls to do their job. They’re happy with the status quo.
No confidence vote was a separate vote. Yes she went down in flames yesterday, but in the mystery of the British system, it was not a confidence vote. That was today.
Baloney! If they had “turned on her”, she would have been voted out. Oh, for a redux of Maggie Thatcher!
IIRC, it was Rush Limbaugh who speculated that this is all theater designed to delay a real Brexit exit. The Elites do not want to exit. So far, they have managed to delay for about 2.5 years.
They have made May into a lame duck and may keep her on the field until the clock runs out and Brexit goes through unmodified.
May appears to be between a rock and a hard place. Those that still support her do that only because they know the alternative is worse.

That was the Brexit vote.
This is about the “no confidence” vote on the PM herself.
The elites are letting the Brit people know WE run the show not you, your vote means nothing unless we agree with it. Our Deep State and their fellow traveler elites are working to undo the 2016 election and make citizen ruled government a quaint idea who’s time has passed.
The globalist, bureaucrats, media elites are the enemy of the common man and freedom, don’t let their slick words fool anyone. They disdain freedom and liberty the way Stalin or any other tyrant would.

Ehhh, only if you can do it tastefully (not like this):
