She’s concerned about her own security in Washington, but could care less about the security concerns of our southern border. I can’t believe she is that stupid to make such a case, and do so in an official letter.

Question, Madame Speaker: When you extended your invitation on January 3^rd for the President to give his State of the Union Address, wasn't the government already in a shutdown? Why, then, did you extend the invitation in the first place?

Her point about Nielsen and security makes sense on the face of it, but I’d like to find more info to back it up. It is definitely a very large security event with global implications.
