Karen Pence, wife of Vice President Mike Pence, started at a job this week teaching art at Immanuel Christian School in Northern Virginia. It’s not a school where everyone is welcome. In a “parent agreement” posted online, the school says it will refuse admission to students who participate in or condone homosexual activity. The 2018 employment application also makes candidates sign a pledge not to engage in homosexual activity or violate the “unique roles of male and female.”
“Moral misconduct which violates the bona fide occupational qualifications for employees includes, but is not limited to, such behaviors as the following: heterosexual activity outside of marriage (e.g., premarital sex, cohabitation, extramarital sex), homosexual or lesbian sexual activity, polygamy, transgender identity, any other violation of the unique roles of male and female, sexual harassment, use or viewing of pornographic material or websites,” says the application.
The application says that the school believes “marriage unites one man and one woman” and that “a wife is commanded to submit to her husband as the church submits to Christ.” The application asks potential employees to explain their view of the “creation/evolution debate.”

How about heterosexual activity within marriage by people who have been divorced are remarried? Jesus defined that as adultery.

Once anti-discrimination laws were passed, freedom of association went out the window. Now we are losing freedom of religion, and soon the gun grabbers will eviscerate the 2nd amendment.
Where I come from, that second relationship is considered adulterous and not a marriage at all.
I do think that Sessions was quickly convinced by the Deep State (early on, but exactly when is not clear) that he better stay out of it. I have no doubt that the Deep State uses ALL of the resources at its disposal to intimidate, if not blackmail, people into cooperating with them. This probably goes on a lot in DC, which is inhabited by ambitious and greedy people who are willing to put whatever principles they may have once had on the shelf if it means advancing their career in the Swamp. So they are easy to convince.
As far as Trump’s hiring brilliance is concerned I would disagree with you on that. He has hired some real duds. Tillerson comes immediately to mind but he’s not the only one. That said, I greatly admire Trump’s fighting spirit and drive to serve the people instead of moneyied interests and the Deep State. His daily battles with the media are a nice bonus.
I donated quite a bit to his campaign. I never imagined the “payoff” would be as good as it has been.

As I said, the school in question is doing nothing illegal at all. But the press is going to run with it anyway.

The school is a peaceable assembly of individuals exercising their religious choices.
Elementary school kids who decide they are LGBTQ are usually being pushed into it by their parents.
Is this a school that includes high school? No matter what is in their policy manual, there are kids watching porn and even having sex. Also, some of the kids will be gay even if their school forbids it because they can’t help it.
In high school I had a friend who went to a religious Christian school. They paired off very early and “dating” was highly encouraged, even in middle school.
