I have no doubt that the deluge of Invaders crossing our southern border illegally include radical islamists but I find this report a bit dubious.
Why would they en masse leave their prayer rugs there after dragging them halfway around the globe?

A spotter for the coyote that smuggled you across the border spots some Border Patrol agents approaching, so you gather what you can, assuming you have the time. You’ve taken the effort to look like a Mexican, so you don’t want to get busted with a prayer rug or a Koran in your possession - both of which you can replace once you make contact with your transporter, who’s already inside the United States.
Seems if it was real there’d be pictures.
