Climate change brings extreme weather

In the past, scientists were reluctant to attribute particular extreme weather events to climate change. But for the second consecutive year, they have done so with confidence.

Thanks to improved modeling, increased computer power, and better skill in interpreting data, attribution science – a young branch of climate science – has been blossoming, says Jeff Rosenfeld, editor-in-chief of the Bulletin of the American Meteorological Society (BAMS).

Based on the research of 120 scientists in 10 countries, the report comprises 18 peer-reviewed chapters; each deals with a particular weather phenomenon during 2017.

“The studies look at what the climate is now, then they run tests to compare it to what the world might have been had we not been releasing greenhouse gases at this rate,” Rosenfeld said at AGU. “It’s a calculation of how the risks have changed in the new climate.”

Although natural variability was important in initiating the heatwave, two global climate model (GCM) ensembles indicate that the record sea surface temperatures, up to 2.5 °C above the long-term norm, “were virtually impossible without anthropogenic influence”, the scientists report.

Pictures not included in this posting, as there are many, of all the mayhem what already took place none related to this contrived global warming scheme none caused by humans. But it seems more and more humans are waking up to the fact that there are some strange things going on, but so far most fail to make the connection that we are running into the beginnings of a repetitive cycle which has been in the making for a couple decades and from what it looks like it maybe a long drawn out affair, increasing in its severity and as stated at the end of this post screwed up politics as well as ignorant and dumb politicians will be the least of our problem down the road.

As long as we are at it, no doubt that some of you may have read that our magnetic poles have been on the move at an increasing speed. Some scientists state that the increase and severity of earth quakes is due to the rotational slow down of earth, what may be true. But the unanswered question is what is causing the slowdown. It certainly isn’t that Mother Earth is getting tired or decided just for the hell of it I will slow down. My hunch is that there is some celestial influence out there which is putting a “Drag” on the rotation of our planet which of course also influences the movement of the magnetic poles. At the same time also causing all kinds of disturbances mentioned in the following article.

This repetitive and historic cycle has become better known and remembered by the mayhem it caused the last time it came around and went down in the annals of history as the TEN PLAGUES eventually followed by the historic EXODUS recorded and retold within the pages of the BIBLE, the most ancient book for guidance and religion of the JUDEAN & CHRISTIAN FAITH. The time of these cataclysmic events was approximately 1500 B.C. triggering world wide disasters. At the time world population was sparse and so were the sources of information limited to a few, such as the chapters of the OLD TESTAMENT, some Egyptians along with some ancient records from the Chinese civilization where we find that the population was experiencing very similar problems as ancient Egypt at the same time.

Indications are that we are just at the beginning of this recurring cycle, ushered in with an increasing number of earth quakes, volcanic eruptions, and draughts in some areas with flooding in others. Along with strange weather patterns such as one seasons running into another, too hot in one region while unseasonable cold in another while destroying crops in the process. The question remains, how severe will it get and how much damage will it cause? From ancient records we know that this cataclysm, the very careful Egyptian records which kept census of the grain stores all this went lost. For centuries afterwards, people lost track of just how many years had passed until records began to be kept again. Needless to say past events can not reflect or predict the timing of future events. As stated several times in the past, so far we have been rather lucky in the American Midwest, getting by with some relative minor flooding here and there. Let us hope our luck will continue! As an afterthought, as future cataclysmic events will begin to unfold, screwy politics as well as ignorant and dumb politicians will be the least of our problems
