I remember when I used to criticize W for not fighting back and the Kool-Aid drinkers around here were all over me for not being a lockstep team player.
So this all feels quite familiar.
Your memory is in doubt. Folks around here weren’t all over anyone about Bush. They hated his border stance, his fiscal irresponsibility, his no child left behind, his no fight attitude
I supported GWB but his disinclination to stick up for himself and his policies drove me crazy.
I even have Photoshops of him I made with “Kick Me” signs on them. It made me nearly crazy to see him roll over.
That is why, even with some people who are offended, I am thrilled to see Trump punching back on issues, punching back on social issues, or just punching back and hitting the Left in the nose just for the sake of punching back and hitting them in the nose.
I am all for it. We are at war with the left. It isn’t a shooting war...yet...but it is a war nonetheless. And they aren’t playing by Queensbury Rules.
I say kick them in the nuts, and when they go down, kick them in the face while they are down, because they will do, and have done, exactly that to us.
