President Trump on Sunday night mocked Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos as "Jeff Bozo" in a tweet slamming The Washington Post, which Bezos owns.
"So sorry to hear the news about Jeff Bozo being taken down by a competitor whose reporting, I understand, is far more accurate than the reporting in his lobbyist newspaper, the Amazon Washington Post," Trump tweeted. "Hopefully the paper will soon be placed in better & more responsible hands!"
Trump's tweets came shortly after The National Enquirer came out with the latest in a series of articles about Bezos's divorce from his wife of 25 years.
American Media Inc., the parent company of the National Enquirer, is controlled by Trump's longtime friend David Pecker.
American Media, Inc. in December admitted that it paid $150,000 to a woman "in concert with" Trump's campaign "in order to ensure that the woman did not publicize damaging allegations about the candidate before the 2016 presidential election." The company agreed to cooperate with federal prosecutors.
Trump last week wished Bezos "luck" on his divorce.
"It’s going to be a beauty," Trump added.
The president regularly antagonizes Bezos, criticizing both Amazon and the Post. He has multiple times suggested that the paper lobbies for Amazon.

Trump should have tweeted BOTH Bezos and Weiner on the stupidity of sending dick pics and how immoral and damaging it is for one’s children to be forever wedded to their public perversion.

Bezos went from looking like a frailer Kevin Spacey to looking (in some photos) like a tougher JK Simmons. I’d post the graphic, but there’s an obscenity included. It’s not hard to find online, though.

I can’t help but wonder if the Bezo divorce was a case of a greedy adventurous woman stealing anther woman’s husband to fuel her lifestyle.
That Jeff was seduced by her speaks poorly of him unfortunately. But it doesn’t sound like the 2 have anything in common. Jeff’s biography says he found his wife by creating a chart of all the attributes of a woman he wanted to marry...
It just seems curious he would change for someone so radically different.
