What’s needed is a curriculum teaching the history of slavery starting with ancients worldwide, and ending with human trafficking in current events.

A teaching of the history of not being allowed to vote, starting with ancient tyrannies and picking up on the fact that the “two-thirds of a person” canard about the Constitution refers to the representation in Congress of people who were allowed to vote, and helped rather that damaging the prospects of slaves having their rights respected.
