Actually, very few Americans across the country care one iota about the Federal Government Shutdown & the Federal workers that are now on non paid furlough.
The economy is buzzing along at lightening speed without them, and there is very little outcry from masses of rank & file “everyday “Americans.
In fact, if the Federal Workforce that in now on furlough had jumped all over Democrats, Nancy Pelosi, Chuck Schumer & the entire Democrat Party, they never would have been furloughed. These folks, that are now crying, missing their paychecks have their job and paycheck destiny in their own hands, but they are too stupid to exercise their political power on the Democrat Party, that put them in their current predictament. Going after POTUS, Trump is a waste of time. It’s your beloved Democrats you need to put serious pressure on Democrats, like right now, or you all may be out of jobs for good, very soon!!!
Wake up, fools, Schumer, Pelosi, and, all Democrats are neither your friends or allies...period. If you folks want to get back to work only the Democrats can get you “all” back by giving Trump his border Wall Funding. The majority of the American people could care less about all of you. Nobody should ever believe any Washington Compost poll again.
Fortunately President Trump (unlike some past Presidents) does not make decisions based on poll (especially when those polling can design a poll to give them exactly the results they want).
The difference is Trump voters LOVE him for shutting it down.
It's worse than that...the poll internals say it was conducted in English and Spanish on 'Adults', so you can bet there were illegals taking part.
Truth is, if you ask them, most Americans don't care and/or can't tell that the government is shut down.

The actual survey question was “Who do you think is mainly responsible for the federal government shutdown?”
Chuck Schumer. This is because only one bill had a chance of getting out of the Senate. That was the bill the Republican house passed in December; the bill where the Freedom Caucas added funding for a wall on the southern border. Schumer filibustered it. It never made it to President Trump’s desk to sign. The only other bills are the Pelosi funding bills that don’t have enough votes in the Senate because they lack border wall funding. So President Trump has nothing to veto. If President Trump never sees a bill that he can sign or veto, how can he be responsible for a shutdown?
I’d like it if the 380,0000 nonessential federal employees didn’t get their 3 + week vacation/ Let them use their vacation and sick time. At an average of $30.00 an hour, which may be low, we could save 4.5 billion a week. We’re over halfway to fully funding the wall by not paying non working government employees. I bet i’m not the only one who doesn’t care. Watch the unions scream and the American people cheer.

Trump said he would take the blame, that he wouldn’t blame Plousey and upchuck.
He said that on the vid where he had them both in the oval office with Pence and himself.
He did let them know in advance of what the outcome would be if they chose not to include adequate funding for the wall, and tjey chose to call him on it.
Upchuck and P-lousey are as much in control of the shutdown as the President. They can tirn this thing around if the drop the pride and the need to control everything, by controling the budget expendetures better than they’re doing.
Even though Trump said he’d take the blame, the fact is, he’s doing his job, and tje others, aren’t.
Their concern is for themselves, not tje people they represent. Tjey jave themselves in a pickel by making a big deal over this.
Keep the government shut down until we have ALL the money to build the wall.
We have nothing to lose. (except a bunch of democrats in DC who spend half their time at work watching porn...)
Replace critical DC employees with ‘illegals’ willing to work for less than half the normal DC pay... that will drive out democrats, cause massive cognitive dissocence, save money, and show the brain dead liberals what they’ve been doing to the country. (they’ll ‘get it’ when it’s done to them)

Only 53 percent in a poll of adults is good. Its probably more like 43 percent.
