I really don't see what Trump is talking about, but I do not have access to our trade delegation either.
Maybe he is seeing something different.
What I am seeing, is we just set the worst trade deficit in all recorded history, with China.
The worst ever.
Worst. Between any two countries. Ever.
It is not improving. It is getting worse.
I am all for Trump, but DO SOMETHING please.

I am all for Trump. I have been for Trump (right here) since before he even announced as a candidate.
But seriously. China is taking huge advantage of America.
Every single administration for the last generation and a half, has been sold out.
Everyone.

President Trump needs to have the US government PREPARED to IMMEDIATELY IMPLEMENT BOTH HIGHER AND EXPANDED TARIFFS on Chinese products EFFECTIVE MARCH 1st.
No FURTHER delays, no more “warnings”, no months-long lead time to effectuate the changes. If this immediate action doesn’t happen, China will simply continue to drag things out and not make REAL changes that ACTUALLY IMPACT THE BALANCE OF TRADE.

Unfortunately, he doesn’t have a magic wand. Everyone has bent over backward for China for 30 years and they’ve been waiting for Trump to cave or just ignore what needs to be done like everyone else has.
Obama said that Trump would need a magic wand to make the economy grow more. It did. So Obama must believe that Trump has one. :)

Sorry, but time is on China’s side; it’s what they’re relying upon. Unlike the US, China employs MANY other tools to suppress imports they want to suppress. For example they may have LOOONNNGGG DELAYS processing/approving shipped imports; have adverse “social credit scoring” for the involved Chinese importers, implied or actual threats and so forth.
The so called “legal professor” Obama doesn’t know squat about economics.

I think Trump’s entire voter base, is waiting for him to act. American companies have (badly) sold out to China.
