Davis police investigators said they recovered evidence from the rental property of the man who shot and killed one of their officers Thursday, including a note they believe was written by the man and two guns that were not registered to him.
On Saturday, police released a one-paragraph letter they believe was written by Kevin Douglas Limbaugh. Spokesman Lt. Paul Doroshov told reporters that the paper was found face up on the bed of the gunman. The letter reads:
“The Davis Police department has been hitting me with ultra sonic waves meant to keep dogs from barking. I notified the press, internal affairs, and even the FBI about it. I am highly sensitive to its affect (sic) on my inner ear. I did my best to appease them, but they have continued for years and I can’t live this way anymore.”
The simple statement was printed and signed “Citizen Kevin Limbaugh.”

In fact, based on your statistics you provided, where you live in Michigan, Detroit has like 5 times higher per capita murder rates than the big pot smoking city of San Francisco.

Well, he looks like he might have gone off of his nut now. Maybe he did earlier too, but nobody noticed or cared. PTSD can knock people off of their nut in later years.
And people of different cultures might react differently to weed. White folks might tend to bliss out and be harmless, militant Hispanic or black people might tend to go into war mode, etc.

I'm sure the guy had a history of imbibing in all kinds of things, maybe even pot, and we have no evidence of. And what about eating and drinking all kinds of food and beverages too. Drinking alcohol to excess? Eating too many hot peppers? Where does it end? The choices are unending.
He was probably mentally ill. Who do we blame for that? His parents? Or his environment....San Francisco? Where does this need of yours come from to blame this whole thing on your imagining that he smoked pot and that's what caused him to do this...with a "90%" certainty....in your vast experience? Because we have absolutely no proof of that.
Asserting single causation factors makes for bad logic. Which is what you are engaging in.
Sure glad you're not a detective working on this murder case. The dead guy's guilty because "it seems to you" that he had to smoke pot because he wrote a note that his brain was being bombarded with radio waves and therefore he went out and murdered this poor newbie cop. Period. End of sentence.
