owa's two Republican senators have condemned Rep. Steve King's (R-Iowa) comments about white supremacy this week, as the members of the GOP continue to distance themselves from the remarks.

Sens. Joni Ernst (R) and Chuck Grassley (R) said they both condemned King's comments in an interview in The New York Times, in which he questioned why the terms "white supremacist" and "white nationalist" were considered controversial, with Ernst calling King's remarks racist.

"I condemn Rep. Steve King’s comments on white supremacy; they are offensive and racist - and not representative of our state of Iowa," Ernst

I've had bad vibes about Joni Ernst since I first laid eyes and ears on her....and my instincts generally don't steer me wrong.

Time will tell...and it won't be long, either...as events are moving so rapidly in the Swamp.

How about condemning all the CRAP that dims say???????

I’m sick of tip toeing around anything we say and have to listen to all the garbage spewing from their disgusting mouths.

Yep.

Ernst will get more Swamp as time goes on. She already ditched her husband.

She got an exaggerated positive rep because she likes motorcycles and someone told her to say. “Make ‘em squeal!” She never claimed to be ‘Tea Party’.

King doesn’t understand why the term “White supremacy” is controversial, and you think it is his critics who lack understanding?

Great, I’d love to hear your explanation because I don’t understand what the heck you are trying to say.

You have to understand what he is trying to say.

King later on Thursday, responding to the Times article, said he is not a white nationalist or white supremacist.

“I want to make one thing abundantly clear; I reject those labels and the evil ideology that they define. Further, I condemn anyone that supports this evil and bigoted ideology which saw in its ultimate expression the systematic murder of 6 million innocent Jewish lives,” he said in a statement.

“It’s true that like the Founding Fathers I am an advocate for Western Civilization’s values, and that I profoundly believe that America is the greatest tangible expression of these ideals the World has ever seen. Under any fair political definition, I am simply a Nationalist.”
