AND-—Many of those current receipts are printed on heat sensitive paper. They become UNREADABLE after about 6-8 months if not stored well, and still might fade away on you.

So true....

I work with hundreds of auditors, and they routinely disqualify receipts based precisely on this fading effect

The disappearing ink on the receipts is an irritation. Unless a person has a printer to copy all of those receipts.
