Scott is starting to go RINO.
Let him see if he can get in the Black Caucus as a Republican before he starts criticizing Steve King.
Maybe he should be direct his comments there.
“Then why not just “nationalist”? “
That would be my preference. However to utter the word “white” should not cause being labeled a racist. People are expand the definition of the word “racist” way out of it’s limits, IMO.
Hey I have a little secret for you. Not all Americans are white.
Not Peter King, Steve King from Iowa.
Once again, I don’t know what it is exactly, that Rep. King said.
From the article, I know what it is that somebody else says that somebody else says he said.
What did Rep. King say?
One can be a Nationalist, and one can be White. That makes one a White Nationalist. Correct.
That’s not the same thing as a “White Nationalist”, believe it or not. Let’s hear what Rep. King said.
USUALLY, when someone is branded a “Black Nationalist” or “White Nationalist” it refers to a very militant, specific type of racist or racial supremacist seeking to carve out a segregated society and the rest of it.
When is the last time Scott wrote a letter defending President Trump against hateful slurs and and slanders?
Or more accurately, when is the last time Scott had somebody write a letter for him defending President Trump against hateful slurs and slanders?
The first question we need to ask, before questioning Tim Scott’s motives, is, “Is King f***ing serious???”
We have reached the self-licking ice cream cone stage, that much is true.
Rep. King is White, that makes him irredeemably racist by definition, according to some. No matter what.
Rep. King is also a Nationalist, by some definition, most Americans are in fact. As I mentioned, while that technically in terms of words put together makes him a “White Nationalist”, he is not, in my opinion, a “White Nationalist”
Bad cess to the people that sullied nationalism per se to begin with, or suggest that white people are responsible for the world’s ills.
Scott has sunk two Trump appointees and ruined their careers by validating Dems’ smears.
POTUS should take Scott out of the Senate by appointing him to a cabinet post, and let Gov. McMaster appoint a real conservative.
Tim Scott is becoming more of a disappointment. The more of his statements I read about and the more knows he becomes, seems he is Black first and formost and then a Republican.
Didn’t he ride the “TeaParty” wave to office? Disappointing regardless.
“USUALLY, when someone .....”
Right, and I really don’t like using the word “nationalist” as a negative brand or label. The left is ruining a number of good vocabulary words, IMO.
Read the article before Posting.
I know that is against the rules here, but...
LOL
how about all “nationalists?”
