When mainstream journalism finally collapses he is going to be one of legions of people who are utterly ill-equipped to earn a living.

It is bound to collapse sooner or later, as anymore there are unpaid bloggers who do a better job of covering stories than journalists who get paid to do so.

A kid I went to high-school with had a daily column in a large newspaper for over thirty years. The newspaper tanked. I have no idea how he pays the bills now. If I learned he was at McDonalds or Starbucks it would not surprise me.
