House Speaker Nancy Pelosi accused President Trump Thursday of a set-up in their meeting a day earlier, when the president walked out after she told him she’ll never allow him funding for his border wall.
Mrs. Pelosi also questioned the president’s motives, saying he’s negotiating from a position of weakness.
“I don’t even know if the president wants the wall. He wants a debate on the wall,” she said.
The California Democrat has said she would allow a single dollar to go to the wall if it ended the shutdown but has said the president’s current $5.7 billion request is a no-go.
Mrs. Pelosi also said the border fight is not about national security.
“It really isn’t,” she said.

Right on! The majority of Americans agree with President Trump, Pelosi blew it big time.
President Trump was supposed to grovel and beg on his knees and then Nancy would grab a single bill from her pocketbook and wave it around. "This is my final offer."
Instead, the President walked out.
Could you imagine if a group of people went to Nancy Pelosi’s mansion, and start protesting, “Nancy, tear down this wall!”

Not likely! As someone posted the other day, that dimple in her chin is her navel. So if she has another “procedure” she will have to start shaving that area!
My local “conservative” radio talk show host told me at lunch today that this is a contest to see who will blink first, and that if he and his producer went to DC, they could talk sense into “both sides”.
