When we bought a dishwasher recently, we had to choose between clean dishes and dry dishes.

You found a dishwasher that actually cleans the dishes???

Most of the ones I've encountered couldn't manage clean OR dry. The few exceptions were focused on the "dry" part. Which model did you find that got them clean?

Actual TSP (trisodium phosphate) is still available. It’s not the machines, it’s the detergent.

I didn’t get one that cleans, I got one that dried. I normally rinse my dishes really well before sticking them in the dishwasher so I figured I didn’t want to focus on the cleaning. But I hate with a passion having to dry every single dish on the top rack. My last dishwasher was like that. So I got one that dries them well.
