A nine foot sculpture has risen on the site of the World Trade Center terror attack of 9/11 in New York. Its a Saudi Arabian candy monument inscribed with the words, There is no god but Allah, and Mohammed is the prophet.
Those are the same words used by the 9/11 terrorists who blew up the Twin Towers at that site. Most of the terrorists were Saudis and the government itself has been implicated at high levels.
The Saudi monument is one of the statues representing the 20 nations the G20 that artist Laurence Jenkell thought appropriate for his Candy of Nations, according to the Observer. The Port Authority of New York also thought it an apt piece to put on this location.
It celebrates Saudi Arabias place in the G20 Summit and was erected last week.
I lost people on 9/11 on that spot and I cant even begin to tell you how I feel about this statue.
If ever a statue needed to be taken down, it is this one.

Talk about adding insult to injury. Not only is it a monument celebrating Islamism at the site of an Islamist attack, but it’s also a god damned ugly and tacky eyesore.
Does anyone not believe that there will be many surveillance cameras watching this erectoin? Anyone defacing it will be dealt with harshly. I am reminded that those in control approved a commemoration in Shanksville that included a crescent of maple trees around a monument. I sent those people a question......how do you think a crescent of embrace, those maple trees turning a flaming red every year in September, will affect riders in planes, when they fly over Shanlsville? I received no response. ASFAIK, there is not a crescent of embrace at the monument. But its not for a lack of trying by those who would easily submit to their perceived masters.
There is no Allah but Satan, and Muhammad was his murdering pedophile.
I was thinking the same. The ACLU cries bloody murder every time some US city puts up a Nativity scene in the town square. Where's that valiant ACLU defense of secularism when tributes to Allah and Mohammed go up?
Similarly, if Confederate statues and monuments had to come down because they offended radical blacks and Social Justice Warriors, what about the millions of Americans who are offended by a tribute to Wahhabi Islam put up at the site where thousands were killed in the name of Wahhabi Islam?

no, it’s just islam saying clilm to their conquered land.
the pill? just like others,, sugar coated so it is “friendly”
Jesus died for you sins, Mohammed kills you for them...
Anyone trying to claim these religions worship the same God is a fool
What a nice touch, adding insult to injury. When stupidity and ignorance keeps increasing exponentially and eventually has reached unfathomable heights the day of reckoning is not too far off.
I doubt if is actually a candy, but something more durable in the shape of a candy. Won't disappear anytime soon.

Ugly in many ways!

Agree 100%
Want to clarify, is that the Saudi flag? it appears all of the candies are the nations flag.
Thanks
I suggest that New Yorkers who walk their dogs in the vicinity start training them to stop and “do their business” at the site of this monument to Islam. I’d also advocate throwing a few slices of uncooked bacon onto the sculpture every morning.
Remember a couple of Muslims wanted to build a 15 story Islamic cultural center a block or two away from the WTC?
Aren’t these kinds of idolatry, you know, kind of prohibited in the Koran? A lot of other things are also prohibited, some of them carrying a death sentence.
I am well aware it is an act of hostility to ALL of Islam to draw a picture of the Profit Mohammed (p*ss be on his name), it should be equally blasphemous to depict the minor deity Allah.

The entire premise of this is absurd. The G20 “candy of nations”? Seriously? What fantasy land are we living in that the devastatingly successful attack on our nation 911 can be trivialized by a candy land display. This was cover to get the Islamic “message” accepted. The entire display should be destroyed. The “candy”, all 20 pieces, should be covered over with red paint to symbolize the blood of the people killed in that attack.
Tear it down now! It is a violation of separation of religion and state!
cuomo & de blasio, their facilitators.
Taqiyya.
