House Speaker Nancy Pelosi introduced legislation on Friday that would require the president and vice president and candidates for the presidency and vice presidency to release their tax returns.
The bill, however, would not require members of Congress or candidates for Congress to release their tax returns.

In 2017, when members of Congress were calling on President Donald Trump to release his tax returns, Roll Call asked all 535 members of the House and Senate to release theirs. As Roll Call reported at the time, 6 members did release their tax returns as requested by the publication. Another 6 had already released theirs elsewhere. Another 45 members, Roll Call reported, had previously and partially released their tax returns. But 473 members had not released their tax returns and did not respond to Roll Call’s request that they do so.

How abut ALL public employees in this country be required to submit their tax returns to the public every year they are in office? Maybe we can see who is on the take.
Guess Pelosi forgot that she can introduce all the bills she wants but unless they are taken up and passed by the Senate and then signed by the President, they are meaningless game playing and for show.
We could use this. Why not flood the Democrat congressional offices with thousands of bat-crazy demands in legislation.
Number one could be deleting any mention of the Founding Fathers or the Revolutionary War because they were slave holders.
Passing legislation to apologize to North Korea for aggression.

Passing laws to protect furries from discrimination and allowing them to wear their perceived species at work and in public.

Why not reveal how Pelosi and her husband became so wealthy?

I would note that Nancy Pelosi is 3rd in line for the Presidency, right behind the VP, so if the country needs to know the VP’s taxes, we need to know hers.
But seriously, congress can’t impose additional requirements for candidates for federal office, the requirements are listed in the constitution, and don’t include tax returns.
On the other hand, the courts have sadly supported unconstitutional rules about candidates spending money on themselves, and disclosure.
I want to see all of Obama’s shit unsealed.

One estimate places Nancy Pelosi as the fourth wealthiest person in the state of California.
When the Constitution was written there were no income taxes. They were only added to fund a war. That war is over. My money is none of their business and the Presidents money is none of their business.
