Washington, D.C. – Speaker Nancy Pelosi delivered remarks with fellow Democratic Congressional leaders following a meeting at the White House. Below are the Speaker’s remarks:
Speaker Pelosi. Good afternoon. We just completed a lengthy and sometimes-contentious conversation with the President. We agree that we will continue our conversations but we all recognize, on the Democratic side, that we really can’t resolve this until we open up government and we made that very clear to the President.

and realize Trump has all the cards.
She is just stuck on stupid. Demoturds are losing this battle and Nanzi, the bitter clinger, just can’t let it go. Let see what a few more weeks of a shutdown does to soften them up.

She's more than just ‘stuck on stupid’. She's the exact thing she's been accusing Trump of - a ‘win at all costs’ because ‘no one gets to disrespect me’ narcissist. Clearly the founders made some miscalculations and errors in not foreseeing the eventual infestation of government with incompetent but arrogant, destructive and self-indulgent people like her. There are many, many of them. I find them pathetic creatures.

I don't think anyone is particularly winning or losing this battle. Stalemate.
What I find interesting is that the government is shutdown for weeks and nobody cares. To me that's the big win here -- to expose how the government takes all this money and doesn't really do all that much.
So that's the win for me. If the wall also gets done that will make it a two-fer.
The Dumbs actually used to have moderates in their party, you know somewhat clear-thinking, willing to listen to logic. Anyone remember those days? Now all they have are pinheads who feel Hillary should be in the White House, call our president a mother f-er and swear on the koran.

Yep, and the fact that the dumbs are so out of their minds stupid, it is just a matter of time before their supporters give up on them. Hopefully sooner than later.
That’s why I think federal term limits would help, along with registering lobbyists for no more than say 2-3 yers.
Trump’s dug in. Best President in my lifetime. So lucky to witness someone who fights.
