She is just stuck on stupid. Demoturds are losing this battle and Nanzi, the bitter clinger, just can’t let it go. Let see what a few more weeks of a shutdown does to soften them up.
She's more than just ‘stuck on stupid’. She's the exact thing she's been accusing Trump of - a ‘win at all costs’ because ‘no one gets to disrespect me’ narcissist. Clearly the founders made some miscalculations and errors in not foreseeing the eventual infestation of government with incompetent but arrogant, destructive and self-indulgent people like her. There are many, many of them. I find them pathetic creatures.

I don't think anyone is particularly winning or losing this battle. Stalemate.
What I find interesting is that the government is shutdown for weeks and nobody cares. To me that's the big win here -- to expose how the government takes all this money and doesn't really do all that much.
So that's the win for me. If the wall also gets done that will make it a two-fer.
