Marine recruit platoons are NOT being gender-integrated. What is happening is that an all-female platoon is being administratively grouped within one of the "male" battalions because - at this moment - there are not enough female platoons to justify an entire separate training battalion staff.
All real training is done at the platoon level, and those remain gender-segregated.
This is just wishful thinking by leftist media types who don't know what the hell they're talking about.
The Marines need to be allowed to kick the a**es of the media LIB lunatics...all of them.

Adding a female platoon, even what is essentially a combat-reinforced platoon, to an all male battalion is almost insignificant - at least before a casualty count.
But if they trained together at the fire team, level and the results were measured objectively, it would reveal the (unworkable) realities of how well females operate under the stressful circumstances of an environment specifically designed to favor males.
