Before I retired Nancy Pelosi, then minority leader, visited one of my company’s work facilities in Sacramento. I was amazed at how lax certain members of her security team were. While two of her security detail walked along with her, the drivers of 2 shiny black SUVs sat in the vehicles and played with their smart phones. They seemed oblivious to what was going on outside the cars. I was shocked.
