Consider if you will if he had taken a different, tact and came out in the WP blasting the democrats, and showing support for Trump? He could have then inserted a little advice from one business guy to another about being a little less rough. I think Trump’s Dad use to tell him to “take the lumps out” when in negotiations, ie be courteous.
I think for the most part, Trump was quite reserved in his response to Romney. If anything, compared to me and 95% of Americans, I think Trump is almost Christ like in the why he’s hung there against the slings and arrows thrown at him each day.
