The SAT has been dumbed down (“recalibrated”) twice since the 60’s. The scores from then to now are almost impossible to compare. But what earns a 1270 today would hardly have earned consideration at Podunk U in 1968.

You are right. The competition for admission is tough and often arbitrary. Once in, making grades doing the coursework is no harder than any other halfway decent school.

This one admission of allowing Hogg Breath to go to school at Harvard while pushing more qualified students aside lowers Harvard to just above community college level; if that. No more Ivy League nonsense for Harvard.
