Incoming House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.) said in an interview with the New York Times that the Constitution considers her to be President Donald Trump's equal.
Pelosi is set to regain the speaker's gavel after spending eight years as House minority leader. Pelosi was the first female speaker of the House from 2007 to 2011, and she maneuvered to get the party's votes necessary to secure the speakership again after Democrats won back the chamber in the November midterms.
In a piece with a headline declaring her an "icon of female power," Pelosi was asked by the reporter "if she considers herself Mr. Trump's equal."
"The Constitution does," she replied.

The branches are not co-equal. That’s a myth like separation of church and state or checks and balances. Not in the Constitution.
Pelosi can do what she likes because the Republicans have the majority where it counts in the senate.She won’t even get a spending bill passed without the Republican Senate.
Looks like the other 434 congresspeople can just go home. Nancy’s doing it all, equal to the entire Executive Branch all by herself.
Of course, that is not according to the Constitution of the United States.
But it IS according to the Constitution of Nancy, the CON.
Yep, the CON says she’s right and everybody else is wrong.
As we know, most cons take that same attitude.
She may want to take a refresher course on Constitution 101.

Well that's the good thing about Pelosi being Speaker.
She's has made Hillary irrelevant and taken
her out of the news cycle.
Hillary has been left on the sideline, chewing her cud
and fuming about what happened to her. In the meantime
Pelosi basks in Democrat Media adulation. Hillary has
become a nonperson to the Democrat media. Her influence
and time left in politics is spiraling around the drain.
And I thought it was because all those TIA’s so many of her little gray cells..,.....nope, I still think that.

But... but... over the Christmas / New Year’s break she was at an upscale resort in Hawaii, certainly not having plastic surgery.
And the low comedy begins, right on schedule.
In Nanny’s day, it was lead paint chips and lots of them. Along with plenty of glue to sniff.
Hillary beat her to the “Queen of the Universe” claim.
Reasonable to say she’s half of Trump, with the other half being McConnell, since the legislative branch is equal to the executive branch, and the two of them lead that branch.
Of course, technically the legislative branch is a democracy, so the leaders have no real extra power, but we all know that among democrats at least everybody does what they are told, so the leaders are like dictators.
She is senile, and says silly and ridiculous things, like many grandparents in senior living centers.
She is likely to get a phone call from some scammers and try to pass a bill to send them money to keep from getting arrested by the IRS.
