For the cost of a few bullets, this guy will not rob again, taxpayers will not have to support him, he will not reproduce again, all positives. Good news to start the year.

“a man entered with a gun around 11 p.m. and told everyone to get on the ground” Pending investigation, it sounds like a righteous shoot to me.

Beautiful news! The bad guy is the only one hurt!

This is a true “feel good” story. Thanks for posting it.

It was not an “armed man” who was shot. It was an armed robber. A less than subtle distinction that the Urinal/Constipation deliberately ignored. The MSM filth at the paper would love to see anyone who was armed shot and killed

Considering the number of people in the store at the time, that was a risky shooting......

At first when I read the headline I thought this was going to be another ‘cops shoot good guy’ story.

The officer, who is a member of the Pine Lake police force, was working security at Big John’s Package Store on Memorial Drive when a man entered with a gun around 11 p.m. and told everyone to get on the ground, GBI spokeswoman Nelly Miles said.

The officer put the perp on the ground. As requested!

Not a word about “white” or “black” in the article. That means that the cop is black.

They usually find a way to blame whites even if no white is present, by saying things like: “After a series of shootings of black men by white cops, .....”.

This was justified. The perps were a danger to innocent people. Dead perp = good thing.

Box checked. Shooting justified. Goodnight, funnyman.

We could stop at all's well that ends well, but the cop's first shot seemed wild, before he got on target.

Fired before he had a grip?

Again, a good guy with a gun takes out a bad guy with a gun. Why oh why can’t the dems see this????? Because they don’t want to I guess and they want a totally subservant electrotate.

We had a situation here in Polk County, FL where a man stopped an Uber driver and approached the car saying he had a gun. The Uber driver was carrying and dropped the guy just as fast.

Our wonderful sheriff, Grady Judd, said this was a perfect case of stand your ground. No hand wringing here.
