A couple of weeks ago, the Washington Post published a report detailing how Bain Capital, under Mitt Romneys leadership, invested in companies that specialize in outsourcing American jobs, creating a surge of media and public interest in his relationship to the private equity firm. Since then, the Romney campaign has offered one lame comeback after another from splitting hairs over the terms outsourcing and offshoring and trying to drum up VP speculation, to flat out whining as Karl Rove put it in an attempt to distract voters from the real issue: Mitt Romney has personally made, and continues to make, millions from shipping American jobs overseas.
Decimating American jobs through offshoring is a main element of what well call the Romney Economy, an economic ideology that focuses exclusively on enriching Americas wealthiest individuals via tax cuts for the rich, and a business ideology centered on taking over companies, siphoning off the profits, laying off workers, and leaving crummy low-wage jobs for everyone else. Romney is a lying snake.
I wouldn’t trust him to walk my daughter across the street.
The media loves to put his stuff out there like a replaying record.....so that in itself speaks volumes of who’s side he’s really on.
You think higher of him than I do.
He’s a vulture capitalist. Got rich by firing a LOT of little people. Many Freepers made excuses, but not me. I didn’t vote for him and cheered when Obama beat him.
If you want a good book about what these greedy elitests did to the American and Mexican workers read John MacArthur’s book:
The Selling of “Free Trade”: NAFTA, Washington, & the Subversion of American Democracy
First Edition, With a New Afterword Edition
Whoda thunk the Utah Mormon is a globalist.
What “American democracy?”
Romney is a smiling phoney. Pats on the back looking for the soft spot to stab the knife. Loser!
The one given us and subverted by the rich and powerful.
I have that book and it is excellent.
We sometimes think in terms of the good guys and the bad guys but there is a third kind of human being—that is the bad guys who pretend to be good guys also known as the hypocrites. Romney is definitely one of them and politics is full of them.
Indeed it is. And I have reason to know the pigs in that pen. It is accurate.
Mitt, the sh!t.
