I'm appalled how many positions in medical school and as interns, residents, or doctors are filled by non-citizens. That should be the real story.....US citizens cannot afford to get into medical school, and even if they can, lose out on acceptances that go to foreigners.

Wouldn't the world be a safer, more stable place, if people with important skills stayed in their homelands?

That was always my problem with Indian pediatricians. Your kids guts can be hanging out and they just look at you like, “Just make a new one.”
