Yes, the fraction of black coaches is lower than the fraction of black NFL players, but the skills to coach and to play are not exactly the same. Coaching takes more brains, and there is a difference in average IQ for whites and blacks.

I grew up on the 50s and 60s and coached and played. My father had black players on his softball team in a town where that wasn’t cool to do. He went to state championship every other year or so so I guess it was OK. I learned if you can play, it doesn’t matter your skin color. I grew up and judged employees by performance not skin color based on my experience with sports.
Liberals have destroyed so many things, including sports. Imagine if we made a fuss and got more white players and asians in the NBA to balance things out. That is the consequence of all the bullshit they try to impose. Ruining sports for the sake of PC and obvious power plays and ethnic politics.

Vance Joseph, the now fired head coach at Denver, had only one year of experience as a defensive coordinator, at Miami, when John Elway hired him.
At Miami, Joseph was mediocre at best.
He started the year with four Pro Bowl defensive players.
He finished the year with a bottom ten ranking in almost every important defensive statistic.
I just wish the Lions fired Matt Patricia.
