Obviously there is a “death inequality” gap. Companies are not willing to kill women as much as they do men. Blatant discrimination, and sad to see in 2018.

" Unintentional overdoses due to nonmedical use of drugs or alcohol while at work increased 25 percent from 217 in 2016 to 272 in 2017. This was the fifth consecutive year in which unintentional workplace overdose deaths have increased by at least 25 percent.

Reflects a decline in the American electorate.

This year, according to the chart, there were 11 deaths in “Computer and mathematical occupations”, down from 16 in 2017.

I can see where one could get killed using a computer - You get electrocuted trying to fix it or one falls on you or even somebody getting tangled up in a cable and being subsequently defenestrated as you follow it out the window you’ve thrown it out of.

What I can’t imagine is how somebody dies in a “mathematical occupation”, short of having one’s head explode from working on a too complicated equation.

According to Oprah, raising children is the most difficult job in the world, so I imagine it will be near the top of the chart.
