As I said, the shutdown SHOULD continue indefinitely.
It will only show how much LESS government we really need.
Start getting rid of whole departments. One a week should do it.
I visit the post office and the VA today and they were both open all day. I suppose they are considered "essential" services.
If it's only "non-essential " services that are closed, maybe we don't need those services by definition.
With 7 million jobs unfilled there shouldn't be a problem finding work for most of these parasites. That said, most are probably unqualified for work in the private sector or just too lazy.
