In the aftermath of two migrant children dying in Border Patrol custody after their fathers brought them across the border illegally, several MSNBC reporters and contributors have blamed the Trump administration for their decision to cross the desert rather than wait in line at a legal port of entry to apply for asylum.
On Friday's MSNBC Live with Hallie Jackson, MSNBC correspondent Julia Hainsley complained: "More now than ever, these families are going to these remote areas because it's harder and harder to get in the legal way, They're having to wait weeks and months in some cases."
On Wednesday's The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, MSNBC contributor Maria Teresa Kumar actually used the word "forced" as she complained about migrants risking a trip through the desert. Here's Kumar:
When they decided that they were going to start closing ports of entry -- when they were going to teargas families trying to go through the legal channels, she (DHS Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen) and the President forced individuals to go and make more dangerous areas to cross the border.
She then blamed the administration for the children who died traveling through the desert.

I’m going to tell my boys that instead of lame and dated ‘dog ate my homework’ excuses, they should blame Trump. I suspect creative over-the-top blame Trump excuses will work just fine.

People have been imprisoned in the past for just such crimes and burglars have collected hefty judgments.
It took one year to get a visa to legally work in Japan. I was required to remain in Seattle during the process. Then, while working in Japan, I had to renew the visa annually.
The renewal process was easy. I went to a local government office, filed some papers that my Japanese sponsors, my Japanese company, were responsible for me. Then pay 100bucks or so.
If I ever failed to renew on time, I would’ve been deported. Being illegal in Japan wasn’t tolerated. The Japanese always sent some government officials by my office twice a year to check up on me.
Basically, if I followed the rules and nose clean, life in Japan was great. I worked eight years there.
Like Trump says, if you don’t have immigration control, you don’t have a country.
Those that are already on this side of the border should be driven back across, as one rives cattle or the enemy. I do not at all understand why wetbacks caught on this side cannot be simply pushed back across. Why do we have to spend taxpayer money processing them? Just push them back.

I remember a case where the criminal broke a leg while robbing a house and sued the homeowners. And won. True story. Mid 70’s Detroit.
Weeks and months? It took me 10 years start to finish, and $15k dollars in legal fees and submission fees. Started with a T1 (I’m an educated professional), then an H1 when I took a job as a director with one of my clients, then a green card, which I will convert to citizenship, hopefully in 2019. My wife is already a US citizen and my older son earned his US citizenship from his military service. Younger son is working on a Doctorate and will also apply for citizenship in 2019. Have NEVER been on welfare or social services support of ANY kind. Have dutifully paid our taxes without fail. These people whining about the people that come in and immediately go on social assistance, having to wait weeks or months, really p*ss me off.

Actually, about two weeks ago two CongressCritters did just that. They personally escorted 5 or so illegals through tijuana. One from wash state and the other eludes me now.
They threatened BP agents and such.
what is the problem these morons have with coming in through the normal entry points?
It seems ICE will dump them in Texas.
